HT-Advance researchers contributed to the EndoCompass research roadmap

Several members of the HT‑Advance consortium have contributed to the EndoCompass project, an initiative led by the European Society of Endocrinology and the European Society for Paediatric Endocrinology to define the future research priorities for endocrine science across Europe. EndoCompass brought together more than 200 experts, specialist partners and patient advocacy groups to produce a comprehensive research roadmap addressing key areas of endocrinology. The resulting papers, published as a special supplement in the European Journal of Endocrinology and in Hormone Research in Paediatrics, outline strategic priorities aimed at strengthening understanding, diagnosis, and treatment of endocrine disorders while enhancing the visibility and impact of European endocrine research.

HT‑Advance researchers played prominent roles in this effort. Professor Eleanor Davies served on the EndoCompass Steering Group who guided the overall structure, coherence and strategic direction of the project and Professor Maria Christina Zennaro who led the development of the Adrenal and Cardiovascular chapter drawing on her recognised expertise to shape the scientific priorities and future directions in this field.  These contributions highlight the strong engagement of the HT‑Advance network in shaping the future of endocrine research across Europe.
